1. Who we are

InstaSights is operated by Simsurveys, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes how we handle information when you visit the InstaSights website, use the research application, or contact us.

Generated respondent answers are synthetic. Account details, research briefs, uploaded material, and support communications may still contain real personal information.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, company details where provided, and information used to register and sign in.
• Research material: briefs, audience criteria, questionnaires, uploaded information, saved studies, and generated results.
• Billing information: plan and transaction details needed to process payments and manage study credits. Payment information is processed through our payment provider.
• Communications: information you send when requesting support or contacting us.
• Usage information: access logs, IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, service usage, and performance or error data.

We do not recruit people to answer your study. Generated respondent data does not represent real individuals. Do not submit protected health information or unnecessary personal information about other people.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and manage accounts, prepare and run studies, make results available, process payments, communicate about the service, respond to support requests, improve and secure the Services, and meet legal obligations.

If you provide training data for a separately agreed custom-model engagement, that data is used to build models for your exclusive use within the platform. We may incorporate model weights and learnings into the general modeling framework. You retain ownership of your raw training data, subject to the terms of any separate agreement.

4. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with providers that support hosting, authentication, payments, AI-assisted study preparation, consumer simulation, communications, and service analytics. Research material is processed by the providers needed to prepare and run your study.

We may disclose information to meet legal obligations or valid requests from authorities, and to successors in a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer.

5. Cookies and external resources

Cookies and similar technologies support sign-in, preferences, analytics, and service functionality. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may prevent some features from working.

The marketing website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google’s servers to retrieve these resources. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring, to protect information. Access to study material is restricted to authorized users and service operations. No method of online transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

Contact us with questions about the safeguards relevant to your use of InstaSights. Do not assume that using synthetic respondent data removes the need to protect real information in your research material.

7. Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Study data is retained by default until you request deletion or a separate agreement provides otherwise.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@instasights.ai. Deletion requests are processed promptly and include removal from backups within 30 days, subject to records we must retain to meet legal obligations.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; a portable copy; or restriction of or objection to processing. Contact support@instasights.ai to make a request.

You can also control cookies through your browser. Account and billing changes can be managed through the application or by contacting support.

9. International processing

Your information may be processed outside your country of residence. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Contact us for information about the processing relevant to your account.

10. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting a revised version here and updating the date below its title. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
